Imunify 360 Security System

General Information.

Imunify360 is a cutting-edge security application suite developed by Cloudlinux, specially designed for the web hosting industry, aimed at protecting client websites as well as services running on the server from all types of attacks. Among the features of Imunify360 are included: protection against DDoS attacks, up-to-date custom rules for Mod Security, file scanning for infections, management of website reputation, and a sophisticated firewall. Additionally, processes running under users on the server are monitored, and they are blocked if malicious behavior is detected.

Imunify360 constantly collects and processes information about new attacks and vulnerabilities from servers around the world, resulting in a low rate of false positives for the protection system and the ability to block even "zero-day" attacks. In addition, it analyzes web traffic reaching the server and uses a complex artificial intelligence technology to dynamically update its security rules, thereby blocking future attack attempts.

The protections and services from the Imunify360 suite are:
  • Advanced WAF (Web Application Firewall), updated with the latest signatures, to prevent direct attacks on site vulnerabilities;
  • IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) / IPS (Intrusion Prevention Systems) monitor the server logs generated by various services and block IP addresses that exhibit abusive/malicious behavior;
  • Block IPs that have abusive/malicious behavior;
  • Automatic scanning and cleaning of infected files / files injected with malicious code;
  • Automatic scanning of files uploaded via FTP and the control panel;
  • Monitoring the domain reputation on the server and alerting if any are listed on a blacklist;
  • Detection and blocking of malicious processes executed by users on the server;
  • KernelCare eliminates the need to restart the server after updates;
  • Integration into the control panel (cPanel, Plesk, etc);
  • Protection against brute force attacks on the most common CMSs;
  • Protection against brute force attacks on email and FTP services;
  • Advanced firewall with DoS (denial of service) protection;
  • Blocking port scanning.
