Introduction

This article explains how to suspend or deactivate a website hosted on a Plesk panel.

When a domain is suspended, accessing it will display a message in which the visitor is informed that the domain is suspended.

If the domain is disabled, it will no longer be accessible from the browser.

Requirements

  • an active Plesk hosting account
  • login data in the panel

Steps to Follow

  • after logging into the Plesk administration panel, from the displayed interface, select "Suspend" or "Disable" as appropriate, located at the top of the panel.

  • after the successful suspension of the site, a confirmation message will be displayed, and the site will appear with a suspended/deactivated status as appropriate.
