There may be situations where after deleting one or more files from the hosting, cPanel does not instantly update the statistics related to the space occupied on the hosting.
This is a normal functionality; the correct display of occupied space may vary from a few minutes to a few hours, depending on the number and size of the files on your hosting.
At the same time, it is recommended to check if you have deleted files including from the Trash folder (in case you deleted using File Manager).
