Introduction

  • The WHM control panel offers the possibility to change the IP address of multiple cPanel accounts simultaneously. This functionality is provided by Multi Account Functions, specifically Change Multiple Sites’ IP Addresses.

Requirements

  • To be able to change the IPs of the accounts, we will need the WHM login credentials. These can be found in the email with the administration data of the VPS or reseller package.

Steps

  • Once the WHM control panel is accessed, in the main interface, we will click on Multi Account Functions. Alternatively, Multi Account Functions can also be found using the WHM search field at the top left of the page.

  • Next, we will click on Change Multiple Sites’ IP Addresses.

Change Multiple SitesIP

  • In the next window, we will be able to choose the accounts for which we want to change the IP. This will be done using the checkboxes in the table containing the accounts. The table will include columns for the main domain name, account user, account owner, and current IP. In this case, we will change the dedicated IP of hostico.com and hostico.net. We will check these two accounts and click the Change IP's of selected accounts button.

Change IPs of Selected Accounts

  • On the next page, we will proceed with the actual change of IPs. Using the selection fields, we will choose the new IP for each account selected in the previous step, after which we will click the Change IP's button. In this case, we have selected the IP 89.44.200.147.

Change IPs

  • If everything went smoothly, we will be greeted by the message All IP Changes Complete. If any account encounters an error, it will be displayed under the text Changing ip for...
