What is Two Factor Authentication?
Data security is more important than ever. Countless pieces of information are compromised daily.
Two Factor Authentication, also known as 2FA, two-step verification, or TFA (as an acronym), is an additional layer of security that, in addition to a username and password, also requires a validation code to authenticate the user. The additional validation code is usually obtained through the use of an external device.
By using a username and a password, along with information that only the user knows, it becomes more difficult for potential attackers to gain access and steal the user's personal data or identity.
Currently, Two Factor Authentication can be activated for the client account and the cPanel and WHM login pages.
The Webuzo control panel does not yet offer this functionality.
